Preeflow® eco-PEN450 is a rotary, pressure-tight dispensing system. It consists of a stainless steel rotor and an elastomer stator, which together form a self-sealing system. This "arrangement" and design creates separate, self-containing "chambers". Due to the rotational movement of the rotor, the volume "chambers" are pushed forward, creating a material flow under pressure. At the same time, a small vacuum is generated in the upper part and it has self-priming efect for liquids with low viscosity.
The materials to be metered can flow from the valve in very small quantities, either as single points or as a continuous flow. The extrusion is fully volumetric and the set volume or flow rate does not change even when the viscosity of the medium changes. The EcoPen600 can be controlled not only to dispense material from the valve, but also "reverse" to the valve for precise and repeatable operation. This ensures very clean and accurate material dosing.
The EC-200K controller is used for control.
